Part 7: Area in Geometry
The goal of part 7: Area in Geometry is for students to reason about relationships among shapes to determine area. Students will find the areas of right triangles, other triangles, and special quadrilaterals by decomposing the shapes, rearranging or moving pieces, and relating the shapes to rectangles.
